UWB without GPS
Underground / Indoor Location Tracking
Centimeter-class XYZ tracking for people and machines where GPS does not work.
Andorean Indoor Location Tracking uses ultra-wideband. GPS is not required. Anchors around the zone read tags on people or assets; TDoA and multilateration compute a stable XYZ coordinate for the Digital Twin.
How it works
Place anchors around the heading, plant, or building. Fit industrial tags on machines and wearables on people. Each tag’s time of arrival is compared across anchors (TDoA). Multilateration turns those times into an XYZ point, then the Digital Twin draws it live.
- Anchor + Tag in the field
- TDoA / multilateration
- XYZ on the Digital Twin
Devices
01
Industrial Tag
Mounted on vehicles and assets. Location plus CAN/Modbus so the same device can carry machine health into the twin.
02
Personnel Tag
Wearable UWB tag for people. Optional emergency alert, vibration, and fall detection.
Main features
- Geo-fencing for restricted and hazard zones
- Vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-person proximity alerts
- Human fall detection
- Industrial Tag and wearable Personnel Tag
Use cases
Underground mining
Personnel and machine location, proximity, mustering, zone access.
Plants and processing
Worker tracking, asset utilization, safety compliance.
Manufacturing and warehousing
Forklift tracking and workflow visibility.
Large buildings
Indoor positioning, security zones, evacuation.
